Caribbean Sunrise Villa, Palmetto Beach, Caye Caulker Belize.

Only 50 yds from the ocean, beach area, and large swimming dock. with a shady palapa on the roof top with a view. Although not directly beach front, this home is very close and much less expensive than the front homes.

We have 2 'near identical' homes on the same property. This property has 2 levels: There is 1 King bedroom (which can be converted to 2 twins upon request) and 1 Queen Bedroom, 1 Comfy Queen Futon in the living room along with a powder room. The kitchen and living room are on the main level with a large veranda. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom and a second large veranda. The upper level leads to the roof top deck with 360 degree views of the island and a Palapa that you can sit under for hours to enjoy the partial ocean view. There are Hammocks under the Palapa as well as chairs for total relaxation.

Throughout are modern island finishes, cool tiled floors, Belizean hardwood ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washing machine, Flat screen TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a large swimming pool with loungers. New furniture throughout.
The home is built of thick reinforced concrete floors and walls, and to American/Canadian Standards.

The island breeze coming off of the ocean is refreshing on most everyday.
This home is located in an enclave of private homes and only about 120 yards to your beach area and swimming dock. Beach games including corn hole and Ladder Toss, paddle boarding, kayaking are all available from the private beach area around the beach thatch umbrellas.

This is a quiet area, only a 5 minute bike ride to town, close to many wonderful restaurants, local groceries, and tiki cabana bars.

The beach area is one of only a few on the island. Our small private enclave decided to build a swimming dock/platform for your morning/afternoon most enjoyable dip in the sea. You can sit at the end of the dock and watch the reef break just offshore. Underwater tropical fish are a daily event at the dock. If you are traveling on your own boat, you may reserve a spot at your dock if staying in the enclave.
The pool is 33'x15' wide with a Belizean hardwood wrap around deck. There are several chaise lounge chairs with cushions to sit by the pool and relax to recharge your batteries for your next adventure. The pool is shared with our 2 homes.
In front of our two buildings is a tranquil palm grove with BBQ facilities including picnic tables and a giant Jenga game. Paddle boards and kayaks are available for free, Beer can be bought at the front desk by the bottle, the bucket or a whole case. You can also rent bikes and golf carts at the front desk or book tours with anyone of the many tour operators on the island for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving or sunset sailing cruises, our staff are there to help. Bikes are available to rent at US $7.50 per bike, per day. We also rent golf carts but availability is limited. We recommend you reserve with us in advance.

  I have been traveling to Cay Caulker since the mid 80's always staying at little hotels in town. This summer, since I had a few extra friends I gave "The Villa" a try. What a fabulous fine! Tucked away out of townyet near by, the Villa had everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful and attentive. There were such nice amenities such as a full kitchen, laundry, AC, comfy beds and couches. The Crows Nest look out was fabulous with hammocks to watch the sun set from. No need to go into town as there was a great restaurant steps away and a beautiful dock. The pool was perfect. When we left our ear puds behind, we got a message and offer to send the items back to the USA.....This rarely happens at a hotel. I highly recommend a relaxing and cosy stay at the Caribbean Sunrise Villa!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Villa. The property is super well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer was a real plus. The air conditioning worked well and cooled down the interior fast when we turned it on at night. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and quiet since you are just sharing it with the adjacent house. We loved the private rooftop palapa for hanging out mornings and evenings. There is really no water view, but the sunrise and sunset skies are beautiful through the lush palm foliage. This property is out of the main center of town so we rented bikes for the whole week. You definitely could walk, but the bikes made it much more convenient. Plus they have baskets for groceries, towels, etc. It was nice to stay out of the noise of the main town but still just be a few minutes bike ride away from everything. The enclave’s private dock was also a fun place to hang out. All in all, we loved the property and how friendly and helpful all the staff members were (especially Victoria and Beyoncé). We will definitely stay here when we visit again someday!!

  Communication was fabulous. They sent a golf cart taxi pickup for $5 BZ pp. The location is central/southern end of the island away from the hustle & bustle. We loved the actual accommodations. The air conditioning worked very well. It was spacious & comfortable for a family of six. The kitchen was well-stocked. We were given fresh bath & beach towels when we requested. The kayaks & paddle boards were a nice perk, however, it was too windy to really enjoy them. We snorkeled from the dock & saw sting rays, puffer fish, crabs, & lots of tiny fish. The lounge chairs were comfortable & the environment was relaxing. The pool was fun & felt great in the early evening. It was slightly warm & would be better if they kept it cooler. We loved eating at Weezies located on site. It’s expensive but convenient. The coffee was eh... wish they used a good Guatemalan or Columbian coffee but- it met a need! Overall, I’d give this place 5 stars! We were very pleased & it was worth the cost.

  The house is clean, well kept and the on site staff is super friendly and helpful. The property is verdant, private and very secure. Check in process was smooth as was check out. We rented bikes and though we had two flat tires during our week, they were replaced
  quickly.
  The listing indicated different size beds than what was actually in the house, but it didn't prove a problem for us. But, if you are a person who needs a king or queen size bed, beware! The dock was a welcome spot for both naps, easy water access and sunning. Unlike the listing, there weren't any daily tropical fish sightings, so there really isn't an opportunity to snorkel right from the property.
  The pool was superb and we most often had it to ourselves, so it too was very private.
  The staff does a good job keeping the sargassum at bay, but neighboring properties don't, so there is a lingering scent. Again, we are aware of the problem up and down the coast, but if someone isn't prepared, it can be a shock.
  We would return to the property and recommend it.

  Loved the villa! Loved the dock,the rooftop deck and palapa! The villa was nicely appointed and truly one of the BEST properties on the island. The only thing that took away from it (which really, I am a little embarassed to even mention) is that the palms have grown so tall that you cannot see but just a sliver of the ocean as shown in the photo from the deck. But come on, that's really nothing at all! Michael and Cecilia were fabulous also! Enjoyed the mini paddleboard lesson for my 1st time from Michael as well. It was a lot of fun to have the bikes, paddleboards, canoes, and kayaks on site for our use. I would definitely stay here again if we get the chance to come back to the island. This place is a little off the beaten path so it was perfectly relaxing and a bonus is the great little Italian place right behind it that served up some of the best food and drinks on the island. Perfect for those lazy evenings you don't want to use the kitchen!
